The key to solving all health concerns
Dr. Michael D. Winer explains how working with
light and an emotional process can resolve health problems
HOOD RIVER, Ore. – What if there was a key to solving health issues once and for all, rather than simply managing them? According to Dr. Michael D. Winer, there is: treating issues affecting the metabolism of light.
“Light is the basic building block and nutrient for our body,” said Dr. Winer. “How we engage and interact with light has profound consequences for health, fulfillment and creativity."
He explains this concept in his new book Light Medicine: Evolving Our Body, Our Life, and Our Planet. The book is a guide to help people take charge of their life, health, and future through Dr. Winer's unique healing process. He explains the importance of an emotional healing process to take care of ourselves, to more effectively engage light, to resolve disease and dysfunction, to achieve optimal health benefits, and to realize our potential.
"By practicing the exercises in this book, people can take an active role in their health and personal development, " he said.
Dr. Winer shows that an effective emotional process can help people address all levels of their energy, from the physical to the most abstract. He is pioneering a new healing paradigm based on research showing how we use light and energy in our body determines whether we experience health or disease. Dr. Winer explains that emotional and energetic issues adversely affect how we use light and energy, leading directly to our health concerns.
According to Winer, "Our body and life are expressions of light and energy. We can develop and use them in unprecedented ways. Of particular interest, this work highlights the possibility of developing enhanced physical body function and new forms of human expression. To achieve these possibilities, we need to overcome limiting programs and emotional patterns. Instead of just playing out our programming and patterns, we can heal our limitations, realize more of our potential and become more fully alive."

2013 - A Year of Transition
Wow! What a
year… so far! From my experience, this is truly a time of change. Some transitions
have been major, including births and deaths. And others have been relatively minor. But watching my own life and those of the people around me, this is
a time when we need to be in the right place, right now. And to move there if we
are not there already.
While it has been crazy hectic for
me, as soon as my initiatives began, everyone and everything helped move them where
they needed to be. As soon as I put my plans into motion, every event showed me
that they were the right moves to make, and every step created greater movement
and brought the changes to fruition quicker than anticipated.
The transition to a new business
model has been smoother and much better for everyone than I expected. Once
Betty and I decided to change our practice, literally everyone who crossed our
path showed us that we made the perfect decision. It was the next step for
everyone and we had to initiate it.
Then I decided to sell my
condominium. Once I put it up for sale, offers came in that day and the sale
was made in two days. It was time to leave Portland, but I had to take action.
Now that I live in Hood River full-time, everything is easier and my time is
freed up to pursue my heart’s desires.
Getting Book II out to the world
has become an interesting adventure. A fun challenge to help it on its journey
and to get it into the right hands. Without the time in my schedule, this would
not have been easy to do.
And I get
to do so many things that I have wanted to do. Research is in full swing… it is
amazing to see what my DNA is up to. I have worked on my genetic programming
every day for the last few weeks… deeper and deeper I go. The input from my
parents has been excruciatingly difficult to heal but so rewarding. Teaching the
genetic energy that I have from my parents to heal, to want to heal, to let go
of fears, to trust, to follow desires, to nurture… so cool! And the output (me,
their offspring) gets to be freer and more in the flow of my Light. Also
working on people this way has allowed me to develop my energy skills even
more. I can do better work on physical body issues than ever before. And more
profound work on people’s Light. So exciting! Certainly, this is just the
beginning.
I am thrilled to be able to assist you
on your journey of transition to a more fulfilling expression of your Light.
And soon, the planetary healing work will begin again in earnest. May your
Light shine brightly in the New Year!! And may we all create greater peace in
the world.

Beauty and Healing in the African Bush – November 3-8, 2013
Mariah and Jo created a magical
retreat. We had a wonderful venue at Djuma Private Game Reserve, set in the
African bush near the Kruger National
Park in northeast South Africa.
Then add in the masterful yoga, the healing, the incredible wild things, and
the extraordinary people… a recipe for magic! Along with Priya, Conrad, Lilian,
Abby, Melissa, Nina, and Rita, we shared five days immersed in healing, yoga,
and the bush. Wow! Such amazing beauty shared with such courageous and amazing
people!
Everyone discovered the Light at
the core of their being and then everyone connected with everyone else’s Light.
This was not a merging with other people’s Light, which would have been a
disaster. It was a connection of one complete being to another. It was a
life-changing opportunity and everyone took advantage of it to find a part of
themselves that had been hidden for a long time.

Retreat
Many concepts are easy to understand but elusive to
experience. The true Self is one such concept. It sounds simple… the genuine
part of us. That should be easy to recognize, right? But, in fact, I have never met anyone who could readily access it without significant, specific healing work.
Thus, when the recent retreat was being organized,
I thought that the most useful healing work would focus on recognizing and
shifting people’s identity from the impermanent parts of themselves to the
genuine parts of themselves. The theme for the retreat became “Getting Real.”
We picked Ramsau as our location so that we could go
cross-country skiing on the Dachstein Glacier in the morning and do the healing
work in the afternoon. The skiing was spectacular! Beautiful weather and
perfect snow!! Plus many of the world’s top athletes training there, too. Very
fun to watch the best skiers motoring around on the glacier.
I guided Christine Schaar, Barbara Kaindl, Matthias Jakesz, and Barbara Jakesz to the genuine parts of
their energy: the true Self, the Soul, the Kundalini, the Earth energy, the Yin
and Yang Light, and into their Light itself. Everyone shifted their identity!
Yay! It was wonderful to see everyone remember their core energy and become
more real. Now, of course, more healing work is necessary to build on these experiences,
but the foundation is established. And they will never be able to forget the
real parts of themselves and go back to their old way of being… success!!

Stone Circle Adventures
There are over 1000
stone circles in the British Isles.
They range in age from approximately 3500 to 5600 years old. Many theories
exist about their origin and usage, mostly relating to celebration, astronomical
phenomena, fertility, and death.
My 2013 stone
circle research project began in late April. I had an idea about their function
and, in particular, how to use them. It was time to test my theory.
My first stop was Stonehenge, where I
had signed up for private access to the site, which is usually roped off to the
public. Once in the center of the innermost circle, I could tell immediately
that my idea was incorrect. I was expecting it to work as a transporter and it
was clearly not the case. Nonetheless, it was a fun experience. And there were
lots of people chanting and acting weird, so I fit right in :) I also got my first kiss of the day from a witchy
woman who threatened to drag me into the bushes to have her way with me.
At the next circle I visited, I paid more attention to the
disequilibrium that I had first noticed at Stonehenge. I
began to map how the second circle affected my energy. I could feel, monitor,
and measure an alternate flow of energy in me. Several people there were
curious about my study and, after explaining my work, I was rewarded with my
second kiss of the day from another enthusiastic sensitive. I knew I must be on
the right track :)
At the third circle, I again evaluated the disequilibrium in
my energy and began my healing work. And that is where things began to get
really interesting. Once I had resolved the disequilibrium, my energy
stabilized at a much higher level. I was in an enhanced state of being in which
everything smoothed out and there was an unusual feeling of lightness and
well-being. From there it was a natural step to feel the whole of my energy and
to feel it merge in my body focused at my lower Tan Tien. From this new
perspective, it was obvious that, without healing, people would either not feel
the disequilibrium, bounce out of their body, or have to leave the circle. And
that was pretty much what I could see when I watched other people at these
circles.
From that circle on, I went into super-healing mode and
spent hours in every circle resolving the deep issues that arose. Every circle
brought up different issues and every circle only revealed its secret energy
once I had accomplished the requisite healing.
I visited 10 different circles and when I returned to Stonehenge
on my last day, I put what I had learned to use. There I experienced the most
profound sense of power that I have ever experienced.
In August, I returned to England
to continue my education and research. I visited one new circle and attained
the heightened energy state again. A few days later, a friend from South
Africa, Mariah Betts, joined me to
experience the circle healing work and to evaluate how to use yoga in
conjunction with the healing work.
Our first adventure developed simply because of a traffic
jam on the M4. After spending more time stuck in traffic than I could tolerate,
we took a detour that led directly to Avebury, the largest circle in the British
Isles. I had not planned to visit Avebury on this trip. The
perfection of the detour was not lost on either of us.
We immediately set to work. Together, Mariah and I healed up
our active issues and achieved a delightful state of elevated energy. Fun
stuff!! After that, we continued our
journey, visiting four more circles and doing some remarkable healing.
When I dropped Mariah off at Heathrow, I picked up my next
companions, Chelsea and Tyler Smith from Santa Cruz,
California. Their interest had been piqued
by what I had told them about my April visit to the circles and they decided
they wanted a healing adventure, too.
We visited seven sites starting with the Roll Right Stones
near Oxford. Our journey took us to
Cumbria—the Lake
District of England—then
to sites in Wales,
and finished at Avebury and Stonehenge. Swinside in Cumbria
was probably the most exciting site that we visited, especially with all the amazing
healing that Chelsea accomplished
while the cows were wandering around us. As an added benefit, while visiting Keswick, Tyler
helped evolve our eyewear and made our healing work look almost fashionable.
Tyler and Chelsea were courageous and relentless with their
healing. The life-changing
evolution of their energy was one of the most extraordinary events that I have
witnessed on the path of healing.
Thank you, Mariah, Tyler, and Chelsea for making some magic
with me!

Every trip I take...
Greetings!
With every trip I take, there is a transition period. I am transitioning to a different rhythm and flow that is not bound by the usual constraints. I am attuning to even more of my energy and expressing it in a more organic way. I am remembering that magic is what is normal. And that the mundane is an easy trap to fall into. It can easily sabotage our joy and reduce our life to meaninglessness.
With that in mind, I wanted to initiate a group meditation to support you in rediscovering or enhancing your sense of daily magic. And fortunately, it is quite simple. Sit in a quiet space. Focus on your 4th chakra. Create an orange ball of light in the chakra and stay focused on it. Notice that this helps you get some distance from the worries of your life and to separate from the worries of those around you.
Within this space, imagine being totally in the flow of what you would like to do, what you would like to create. You do not need to know exactly what that is, just the feeling of it. Now allow that feeling to flow through you and take over in you. Allow the magic of that flow to inspire you and guide you.
Do this every day for the next week. Start your day with it if you can and end your day with it as well. Let's create some magic!!

Party fun!
The book signing party was great! While I thoroughly enjoy crafting words to communicate about this healing work, it was wonderful to finally get books into people's hands. For me, this is the most fun part of the process of creating: to have people share this journey. It is some rich icing on the cake to see people start to move along the path that Book II traverses. Everyone seems so hungry to explore!
But the very best part of the party was having people who are into this work get to meet other people of a similar ilk. Most of my clients do not have many or any people to really relate with about the healing they are going through. And maybe even more importantly, it was great to watch people connect from the healthier place they have achieved! Everyone seemed to enjoy being able to connect without the usual junk that occurs between people. While it has always been my dream that we could create a different model for engaging with each other, it was truly exciting to see it actually happen. Yay for realizing more of our potential for deep, meaningful connections!
More parties please!!
